BOJ nominees largely in lines with Komeito demand-Japan coalition head

TOKYO, Feb 25 (Reuters) - The head of Japan's junior coalition partner said on Monday that Prime Minister Shinzo Abe briefed him on nominees for the Bank of Japan board and that those nominees broadly meet the party's qualifications.

New Komeito party chief Natsuo Yamaguchi, speaking to reporters, declined to comment on the names of the three candidates mentioned in the meeting with Abe.
