CRE approves a contractual mechanism between
Poweo Direct Energie and ERDF related to customer relationship management of clients with integrated contracts
On August 2nd 2012, the French Regulatory Commission of Energy (CRE) published on its internet website its decision dated July 26th 2012 approving a contractual mechanism between ERDF and Poweo Direct Energie according to which Poweo Direct Energie would be entitled to charge ERDF for the customer relationship management of clients with integrated contracts.
This mechanism, which only applies to suppliers which have not yet reached sufficient economy of scales, was also submitted to the French Competition Authority and should apply only for a transitional period.
The execution of the agreement negotiated between Poweo Direct Energie and ERDF to implement such mechanism remains subject to the approval of the Board of Poweo Direct Energie and of the Supervisory Board of ERDF.
